TO MEGA THERION - it is a pillar

This record should be well known among black metal fans and musicians. But it is 20 years since its first release so it might be some people that is unaware of this jewel in the history of darker metal.

In 1985 this record made an impression on us all. Not that their previous releases didn't, but this was something so much more. In my opinion this is their best record, and still one of the recordings I still listen to after all these years.

i love black metal..but im not even sure if thats what it is but in celtic frost's
'baphomet'
from newer things, but still it features some symbol that apears to be '777' such things just put me off to listening to their music at all. you and mayhem kick ass though, one of my favorite bands /m/

Yep.. Celtic frost rulz too... but my favprite band ever is
Mayhem of course, but I have to tell you that I like Celtic Frost a lot... they are one of the main black metal influences, just like Venom... they don't play "black metal" musically... but for me black metal is more than "music" its actually a feeling... its weird to ay but its a kind of "emotion"...
and for me, these both band has this dark feeling.

Yeah... well.. I don't realy like their early "glamour style" (Celtic frost) but they were on of the first band who adopted the "corpse paint"
only Tom G. Warrior in fact but anyway, they deserve to be considered like one of the big names of the old scene.
